Joyce Sarah Lillian Peterson

Joyce Sarah Lillian Peterson, aged 96 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Wednesday, February 15th, 2017.  She was predeceased by her son, Brian (2010).  Joyce is survived by her children: Maynerd (Alberdina) Peterson, Marylin (Blaine) Heagy, Bonnie (Don) Coulter, Joanne (Garland) Gould, and Judy (Leon) Toews; daughter-in-law, Doreen Peterson; 18 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.  Besides raising her loving family, Joyce taught Kindergarten in various schools in Moose Jaw for 20+ years (1961 – 1982), then part-time for another 3 years.  We would like to thank the staff at the Grant Hall and Crescent Park Retirement Villa for their care of mom.  A Celebration of Joyce’s Life will be held on Tuesday, February 21st, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  Pastor Rodney Coulter will officiate and interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Joyce’s name may be made to Radio Bible Class c/o Our Daily Bread Ministries Canada, PO Box 1622, Windsor, Ontario N9A 6Z7 or to a charity of one’s choice.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Calvin Gammel, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
