“Chopper” Edward J Perrins
“Chopper” Edward J Perrins, at the age of 61 years, passed away on Tuesday, December 1st, 2015 with his loving family at his side. Chopper was born on June 24th, 1954 in Moose Jaw, SK to Pat Rankin and Edwin Carlson. Chopper was a friendly, giving man who would give you the shirt off his back. He was a father, a brother, a friend and hero to most. Chopper had many friends which he cherished and his family was his pride and joy. He was predeceased by his mother, Pat Rankin and father, Edwin Carlson. Chopper is survived by his children: Alice, William and Jonathon Shaver; stepsons: Logan Shaver, and Darcy and Eric Brown; grandchildren: Beth Shuya, and Domanik and Ryker Shaver; brother: Mike (Tricia) Broomfield; nephews: Brian, Jordan and Tyson Broomfield, and Devon Angus; nieces: Jenna and Tara Broomfield, and Haley Cochrane; deep-rooted friend, Terri Shaver (Eric Van Dusen); along with numerous extended family. A Celebration of Chopper’s Life will be held on Saturday, December 5th, 2015 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. in the Harvey Room at Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Interment will take place at a later date. We would like to encourage anyone who has anything they would like to share with the group, such as a good memory or a type of tribute, to do so during this celebration. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Chopper’s name may be made to The Moose Jaw Humane Society, Box 1658 Station Main, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 7K7.
