Lenora Joyce Paysen

August 25th, 1931 – September 30th, 2016

Joyce Paysen passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital in Moose Jaw, SK.  She was predeceased by her parents; her husband of 39 years, Earl; sister, Eileen Anton; and daughter, Charlotte Hetherington.  Joyce is survived by her sisters, Myrna Kendall (Wayne) and Kathleen McLean; son-in-law, Tom Hetherington; sons: Larry (Brenda), Darrell (Zohreh) and Wayne (Beverly); nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.  Joyce’s family will be forever grateful to the nurses and staff at Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital for the amazing kindness and comfort that they gave Mom in her final days.  Thanks also to the staff at Providence Place GARU, as well as Doctors Thorpe, Ramadan and Majid, for the excellent care and treatment that they provided to our mother.  A Celebration of Joyce’s Life will be held on Wednesday, October 5th, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  Pastor Marvin Seaborg will officiate and a private family interment will take place at Sunset Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Joyce’s name may be made to Providence Place G.A.R.U., 100 – 2nd Ave NE, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 1B8.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Calvin Gammel, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
