Dear Beryl, Brett, Lynne, Glenda and Curtis ,
My condolences. Your husband and dad was quite a character. Earl was Main Street Ormiston of my era. When he moved that big store into town it was like we had a mall. Four aisles , a walk in freezer, butcher block and Thursday night shopping. The branded grocery truck ran regularly to Moose Jaw and was a reliable shuttle if town residents needed it. Lots of superb memories.
Rest In Peace Mr Passmore.

To Beryl & family…..sending our condolences to you all. Earl was such a character! All the memories I have of him are of shared laughter!! He was truly an awesome guy!!
Dear Mrs. Passmore,
I mailed you a card last week, but it has been returned due to incorrect address. As I can’t reach you personally, I want to share a few more memories of Mr. Passmore, on line.
I will always remember his goofy jokes and the twinkle in his eye whenever he would tease us.
I will remember his generosity- loading kids into the grocery van to drive us into the MJ Shrine Circus.
There would have been no trick or treaters at the mine, if he hadn’t organized a van full of kids and driven them out every Halloween.
In December he would save the 2 tallest Christmas trees for the Baptist Church- and the Thompson’s.
I always enjoyed visiting Lynn at your home above the store, and dropping items through the floor register, onto unsuspecting shoppers below! I’m sure you and Mr. Passmore were aware of our antics, but you we’re extremely tolerant.
I hope YOUR memories will offer you comfort in the days ahead.
Sincerely,
Janice (Thompson) Anderson
