Ernest Paquin

The family of Ernest Paquin wishes to announce his passing on Friday August 31, 2007 at the Moose Jaw Union Hospital at the age of 80, succumbing to his battle with cancer. Ernest leaves to cherish his memories his wife and biggest support, Zena; son, Kim (Laurena) Paquin of Regina; daughter, Jana Paquin of Regina; stepsons: Bob (Donna) Davey Red Deer, AB. and Doug(Pat) Davey Sayward BC; grandchildren: Brett (Tyson) Liske, Nickolas, Kelsey, Esha, Lucas; step-granchildren: Cheryl (Jamie) Johnston, Greg (Stacey) Davey, Deana (Monty) Wilson, Dennise (Craig) Fisztner, Dean Davey and seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Debee, in 1988, parents, Albert and Laura Paquin; brothers: Henry, Fred, Adilard; sisters: Bertha and Jean. Ernest grew up on a small farm near Lebret, SK., milking cows and delivering milk was his life as a young man. He left the farm and started working for the CNR in the B/B division retiring after 34 years of service. Upon retirement he and his wife Zena enjoyed many winters in Texas and did much traveling throughout Canada and the USA . Ernest enjoyed the company of others and the value of keeping in touch with family. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 5 th, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home ( 268 Mulberry Lane ). Father Alex Osei will officiate. Interment will follow at 4:00 p.m. at the Lebret Cemetery, Lebret SK. for all who wish to attend. Family & friends are invited for visitation on Tuesday, September 4 th, 2007 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of ones choice.
