Elaine Marjory Noble (Francis)
Elaine Marjory Noble (Francis) was a woman whose kind, thoughtful, engaging ways made her a treasured family member and friend. She passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 23rd, 2016 at age 93 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley Noble in 1976; her parents, Lawrence and Florence Francis; step-mother, Effie; and brothers: Robert, Ormond, Gordon, Donald and Calvin Francis. Elaine will be missed by her step-sister, Mildred Zalesky of Surrey, BC; sisters-in-law: Helen Francis, Anna Francis, Marilyn Francis and Margaret Larden; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Elaine grew up in the Tilney area and started a long, satisfying career with the federal government (PFRA) in Moose Jaw. After she and Stan moved to Calgary, she moved on to the Personnel Department of Revenue Canada. Elaine was always active in community involvements such as sports, church activities and hiking. Her home reflected her appreciation of family, beautiful art, music and books. She returned to Moose Jaw in 2004 and was a long-time resident of Mulberry Estates before moving to Crescent Park Villa in 2014. A Celebration of Elaine’s Life and sharing of memories will be held on Friday, April 29th, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Elaine’s name may be made to the Riverside Mission, 40 Manitoba St E, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 0A2, Joe’s Place Youth Center, 402 Main St N, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 3K2 or to a charity of one’s choice.
