Violet Patricia Nicholson

Violet Patricia Nicholson passed away peacefully on Friday, July 20th, 2012 at the age of 81 years.  She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Morris Nicholson; daughter-in-law, Chris Nicholson and numerous brothers and sisters.  Violet will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Garth of Medicine Hat and David of Moose Jaw; her brother-in-law, Wayne Nicholson and her sister-in-law, Elaine Nicholson; brother-in-law, Roy Teeple; nephew and niece, Lyle and Donna Wilhelm; and many others.  She was a loving mother and a giving person.  She attended normal school and taught school for a while.  She later became an ECG tech, working at the Union Hospital in Moose Jaw.  Violet resided in Moose Jaw for many years and will be missed by many friends.  In keeping with Violet’s wishes, there will be no Funeral Service.  Burial of Cremains will take place at a later date at Rosedale Cemetery.  In memory of Violet, donations may be made to The Moose Jaw Humane Society, Box 1658 Station Main, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 9Z9.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Todd Sjoberg, Funeral Director. 693-4550.
