Harvey Nicholson
Harvey Nicholson of Moose Jaw and formerly of Mossbank, Saskatchewan passed away on Thursday, February 19th, 2009 at the age of 95 years. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 28th, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in Emmanuel Lutheran Church with Pastor John Kreutzweiser officiating. Burial of cremains will take place at Sunset Cemetery prior to the Funeral Service. Harvey was predeceased by his first wife Laura (Burrows); his daughter Marlene Eppy; 2 brothers Doug and Don (Donalda); step-son Les Staniowski and step-grandson Greg Staniowski. He will be lovingly remembered by his loving wife Heidi; his son in law Grant Eppy; Harvey’s grandchildren, Susan (David) Bell and Randy (Janice) Eppy; great grandchildren, Jason, Stacie, Elizabeth and Alanna; Heidi’s children and grandchildren, Stefanie (Jerry) Courteau, Edward (Jill) Staniowski, Robert (Angela) Staniowski and Sharon Staniowski; and their families; sister-in-law Wilma Nicholson; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Harvey farmed in the Mossbank District where he was known as a gentleman farmer. He enjoyed curling and golf, and at the age of 75 years, shot a 75 while golfing. Above all he loved his family. He spent eight wonderful years with his wife Heidi at Mulberry Estates. The family would like to thank the Doctors and staff at the Moose Jaw Union Hospital for their kind and compassionate care.
