Dorothy Helen Nicholson,
Dorothy Helen Nicholson, aged 93 years formerly of Moose Jaw and Tugaske, SK passed away on Friday, October 29th, 2021.
She was predeceased by her parents, Leola and George Moore; her husband of 57 years, Halliday; and son Dennis. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Joan (Rob) of Central Butte, SK; grandchildren: Jaimee (Lee) of Calgary, AB and Joey (Natasha, Kirk) of Grand Forks, BC; and great-grandchildren: Hunter, Bree and Lucian.
Dorothy will be remembered for her outgoing personality and great sense of humour. She loved meeting people and formed friendships where ever she went. Dorothy enjoyed her travels and winter vacations, and each trip was an adventure with an elaborate big story. Dorothy was quick with an encouraging word and always there with love and support for her family. Dorothy will be greatly missed and live in our hearts forever.
A Celebration of Dorothy’s Life will be held on Saturday, November 6th, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Tugaske Community Hall, Tugaske, SK with Celebrant Dave Foley officiating. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Dorothy’s name may be made to the Tugaske United Church, Box 58, Tugaske, SK S0H 4B0. So sorry to hear of Dorothy passing as she was a great one from our older generations that truly had a heart of gold with greatest caringof others, may she rest peacefully.

Sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing – I will not be able to attend the service but I had a couple nice visits with her in Iver Main – she was a lady right to the end!
