ELDA LUCILLE MUNROE (née Lamb)

December 23rd, 1932 – August 10th, 2017

It is with sadness that the family of Elda Munroe announces the passing of their mother at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital in Moose Jaw, SK on Thursday, August 10th, 2017.  She was predeceased by her parents, Elba and Gladys Lamb; husband, Ernest Munroe; nephew, Robert Irvine; son-in-law, Norman Lockyer; and grandson, Colin Munroe.  Elda leaves to mourn: her daughter, Erna Del (Dennis); sons: Brent (Nancy), Vince (Landis), and Tracey (Robin); 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.  The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 19th, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Central Butte United Church, Central Butte, SK.  Adam Driscoll will officiate and a private family interment will take place at Central Butte Cemetery.  The family would like to thank Dr. Vermaak and the staff on the medical unit for the excellent care given to mom.  Also, we would like to thank Dr. Kasset and staff in Herbert, SK.  Flowers are gratefully declined.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Elda’s name may be made to The Canadian Diabetes Association, 917A Albert St, Regina, SK S4R 2P6.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Todd Sjoberg, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
