Kenneth Cecil Mulholland
July 14, 1954 – September 25, 2024
Kenneth Cecil Mulholland passed away peacefully in his sleep, a great friend to many. He was a very private person in his private life. He was always happy and willing to help any of his family and friends. Special friends, Melissa and Dianne and too many to mention. He loved woodworking and made decorated wooden cremation boxes for his parents and other friends and relatives. He loved the outdoors, boating, fishing and hunting. He was a certified Scuba diver and had his firearms licence. He was a good cook and loved barbecue.
He worked at Palliser Regional Park for 35 years and enjoyed the work. He was asked many times when he was going to retire next year, but he only cut back on two days a week. He made many friends there. His relaxing place after work was the Farmhouse Bar where he was with constant friends. Ken was always there to lend a hand and took many friends and relatives to appointments in the city.
Ken was predeceased by his mother, Jessie Payne; father, Cecil Mulholland; stepfather, Wilf Payne; grandparents: Susannah and Robert Patton and Ivah and James Mulholland and Joseph and Martha Payne.
He is lovingly remembered by his sister, Ellen Laybourne; nieces, Nicole (Orlando) and Kathleen (Doug) and great niece, Shauna.
In keeping with Ken’s wishes, a private family service will take place. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ken’s name may be made to the Palliser Regional Park P.O. Box 89 Riverhurst, SK S0H 3P0. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane. Shirese Noble Funeral Director 306-693-4550
