Jeanette “Betty” Elizabeth Mowrey

Jeanette “Betty” Elizabeth Mowrey, aged 89 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Thursday, July 16th, 2015.  The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 21st, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  Reverend Doug Shepherd will officiate and interment will take place at Sunset Cemetery.  Betty was born in Briercrest, SK on March 24th, 1926.  She married Morley Mowrey on December 21st, 1946 and together they raised five children.  She was predeceased by her parents, Donald and Mildred Findlay; and brothers, Neil and Dean Findlay.  Betty will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 69 years, Morley; children: Richard (Bich), Dave (Dorreen), Jim (Annie), Donna (Brad) and Dan (Mai); 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Mabel Mohr; as well as numerous other relatives.  Flowers are gratefully declined.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Betty’s name may be made to the Allan Blair Cancer Centre c/o Pasqua Hospital, 4101 Dewdney Ave, Regina, SK S4T 7T1.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Todd Sjoberg, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
