Lawrence Moss

Lawrence Moss, aged 71 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Tuesday, May 16th, 2017.  Lawrence was born in Prelate, SK.  He came to Moose Jaw to live at Valley View Centre on June 15th, 1956 and resided there until November 9th, 2015, at which time he moved to Christian Horizons.  Lawrence enjoyed smoking, drinking coffee, taxis and outings.  He was predeceased by his parents and brother, Ivan.  Lawrence will be lovingly remembered by his brother, Edward (Marilyn) and sister, Shirley, all of Medicine Hat, AB; staff and friends at Valley View Centre, as well as his housemates and the support team at Christian Horizons.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 26th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Recreation Hall at Valley View Centre.  Ben Raine will officiate.  The Burial with Lawrence’s brother Ivan will take place at Rosedale Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Lawrence’s name may be made to Free to Be Me Animal Sanctuary, Box 1685, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 7K7.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Todd Sjoberg, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
