Rhodora Jareno Moraleja

Rhodora Jareno Moraleja, aged 44 years of Moose Jaw, SK, joined her creator on Tuesday, June 10th, 2014 in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her family and special friends.  She was born to Mr. Antonio and Teresita Jareno on December 10th, 1969 in the Philippines.  Rhodora graduated from University of Sto. Tomas in 1990 and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Botany.  In 1995 she finished her doctor of medicine at De La Salle University.  She married Ferdinand Moraleja on October 3rd, 1999.  She was an obstetrics- gynecology specialist in the Philippines when they immigrated to Canada in April of 2010.  She worked at the Moose Jaw Union Hospital as registered nurse after passing the CRNE in 2012.  Rhodora is survived by her only child, Ifan Joachim Moraleja and her husband, Ferdinand Moraleja.  The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 14th, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 1064 3rd Ave NW, Moose Jaw, SK.  Father Carlos Jimenez will be the presiding celebrant.  A Prayer Service will be held on Friday, June 13th, 2014 at 8:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  Thank you to the nursing staff of the Moose Jaw Union Hospital, and to the nurses of the surgical ward, as well as to all the Doctors and Physicians who cared for Rhodora, especially Dr. Rininsland.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Rhodora’s name may be made to Ovarian Cancer Canada, 1409 Edmonton Trail NE, Suite 105B, Calgary, AB T2E 3K8.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  James Murdock, Funeral Director 306-693-4550.
