Edith “Edie” Bernice Montgrand

Edith “Edie” Bernice Montgrand (Lambert, Shepherd), aged 64 years of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan passed away on Friday, September 21 st, 2007 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. The Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, September 26 th, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Joseph ‘s Roman Catholic Church, 1064 3 rd Ave. N.W. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. Edie was predeceased by her husbands Donald Shepherd and Mathieu Montgrand. She is survived by her parents Percy and Gertrude Lambert; her children: Bonnie(Dan) Irving, Clint Shepherd (and the mother of his children Nicole Shepherd), John (Joanne) Shepherd, Winston Montgrand and Angela Montgrand; grandchildren: Wayne (Lori) Dahlgren, Melissa Shepherd, Katherine Shepherd, Laura Shepherd, Brioney Montgrand, J.D. Irving, Jessica Shepherd, Amanda Shepherd, Brenden Shepherd, Andrew Montgrand and Brigette Montgrand; great-granddaughter Emma Dahlgren; one brother Ed (Ona) Lambert; three sisters Betty (Charlie) Ward, Jean (George) Beck and Hazel (Mike) Williamson; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Edie was a Registered Psychiatric Nurse and was proud to have worked 35 years at Valley View Centre. She enjoyed golfing, curling and recently learned and enjoyed quilting and playing bridge. She loved to spend time with her family and watching her grandchildren in sports and other activities. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Edie’s name may be made to the Allen Blair Cancer Centre c/o Pasqua Hospital, 4101 Dewdney Ave., Regina, Sk, S4T 7T1.
