Sheila Marie Montcalm

It is with incredible sadness that we share with you the sudden passing of Sheila Marie Montcalm, aged 50 years of Moose Jaw, SK, who passed away on Wednesday, February 17th, 2016.  Sheila was born in Regina, SK on March 27th, 1965 and was welcomed into the home of (James) Ken and (Elsye) Darlene Rink.  She spent her early years living in Regina and BC before moving to Moose Jaw in 1976.  Sheila would spend the duration of her life in Moose Jaw, surrounded by family and friends.  She was predeceased by her loving mother, Darlene Rink (1998); beloved grandparents, Bill (1988) and Alice Barber (2010); uncle, Don Barber (2002); and cousin, Jeff Barber (2014).  Sheila will be lovingly remembered by her partner and best friend, Randy Hetke; her beloved and cherished son, Myles Montcalm; ever supportive father, Ken Rink; loving ‘little’ sister, Laurie Duncan (Kevin); nephews, Evan Duncan (Emily) and Matteo Duncan (Brianne); niece, Gianna Duncan; the Hetke family, especially Randy’s siblings, nieces and nephews; as well as numerous other family members.  She will also be remembered by several close friends and long-term clients, as well as her “very friendly” Kitty.  Sheila’s zest for life and radiant personality touched the lives of everyone with whom she interacted and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.  The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 26th, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. in Minto United Church, 1036 7th Ave NW, Moose Jaw, SK.  Reverend Jim Tenford will officiate and interment will take place in Rosedale Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Sheila’s name may be made to a charity of one’s choice.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Todd Sjoberg, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
