Martin Leroy Moerike

Martin Leroy Moerike, aged 71 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Wednesday, April 11th, 2012.  The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 17th, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  Father Rick Krofchek will officiate and interment will follow in Rosedale Cemetery.  Martin was employed at Kalium and later worked as a painter in Moose Jaw.  He was predeceased by his mother, Edna; father, Martin; sister, Marilyn and sister, Sherry.  Martin is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Jean; daughter, Tanya (David) Kasper; son, Kevin(Crystal); grandchildren: Ryan, Justin, Alex, Joseph, Deven and Stephan; sister, Anne (Adam) Anakaer; step-sisters: Darlene, Carol and Karen; step-brother, Lee; and numerous nieces and nephews.  For those so wishing, memorial donations in Martin’s name may be made to The Moose Jaw Humane Society, Box 1658 Station Main, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 9Z9.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Gary McDowell, Funeral Director. 693-4550.
