Florence Edna Mills
June 27th, 1926 – March 13th, 2020
It is with great sadness the family of Florence Edna Mills announces her sudden passing on Friday, March 13th, 2020. She was predeceased 40 years ago by her loving husband, Cliff; as well as sisters, Dorothy and Delores; and brother, Clarence. Flo will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Wendy (Gord) Findlay and Jo (Barry) Heron; grandchildren: James (Amanda), Tammy (Chris), Dustin (Vanessa), Colter (Danene), and Brandee (Tije); great-grandchildren: Brandon (Jessica), Logan, Landon, Hayden, Katy, Alaina, Katie, Zackery, Baylee and Bentlee; and sister, Pearl. She will also be missed by her extended families of the Findlay’s and the Herons. Many wonderful memories were made at family gatherings where Flo was always involved, whether it was making her special potato salad or her “secret” recipe Maid of Honour Tarts at Christmas. She loved to knit and made many pairs of mittens over the years, and later on, her knitted dishcloths which became a Boxing Day specialty. Flo always had a smile and loved to do the Queen wave, as she was Cliff’s Queen, and she and the Queen were the same age after all. Flo will be forever missed by her girls and the whole family. A Private Family Graveside will be held at Rosedale Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Flo’s name may be made to The Moose Jaw Humane Society, Box 1658 Station Main, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 7K7 Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.
