Blaine Robert Mews

Blaine Robert Mews, aged 58 years of Moose Jaw, SK passed away on Saturday, July 11th, 2020.  Blaine was born on September 20th, 1961 in Moose Jaw, SK.  He received his education at Lindale School and A.E. Peacock Technical School.  Blaine enjoyed working farm land, carpentry, plumbing and electrical work.  His hobbies includes owning and rebuilding cars, and maintaining all farm machinery.  Blaine married Cory Lewis on August 6th, 2005 and he became a stepfather to two boys, Curtis and Tyler, and step-grandfather to Caleb.  He was predeceased by his parents.  Blaine will be lovingly remembered by his brother, Wayne (Phyllis); nephew, Shaun; and niece, Kandi (Dave).  He will also be missed by Cory Mews, Curtis and Tyler.  Due to the current health situation, a Private Family Interment will be held at Rosedale Cemetery.  Flowers are gratefully declined.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Blaine’s name may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 1738 Quebec Avenue, Unit 26, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1V9.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Todd Sjoberg, Funeral Director 306-693-4550.
