Jason Joseph Mercer

Jason Joseph Mercer was cherished by the love of his life, Tina and three sons: Kaleb, Easton and Maguire, who were his pride and joy.  We are heartbroken by the loss of our adored husband, father, brother and friend on Wednesday, March 23rd, 2016.  “Mercer” lived life with purpose, passion, and a genuine love for others.  He served his community and was clearly everyone’s favourite – whether you served with him, refereed with him, or had the privilege of sharing in his love of life and laughter.  “Mercer’s” infectious spirit drew other people in, made them feel cared for, important and safe.  We’ve all benefited greatly from our time with him and are better off for having known him, because of this we want to celebrate his life together in a very real and intentional way.  A Celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, March 31st, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. in the Hildebrand Chapel, Caronport, SK.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in trust by referencing “The Mercer’s Children Trust” at any BMO “Bank of Montreal” branch.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Todd Sjoberg, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
