Joan Clare Measner
Joan Clare Measner, aged 80 years of Moose Jaw, SK passed away on Saturday, September 4th, 2021. Joan was born in Regina, SK and received her education there. She married Ken Measner on August 21st, 1965 and together they raised two children. Joan worked with her husband operating the Dairy Queen until 1995. Her passion was water colour painting, as well as gardening and enjoying nature. Above all, she loved spending time with her two grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ken in 1994; as well as her parents and siblings. Joan will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Lana (Dean) and their children Quinn and Teá; son, Brent; as well as surviving members of the McDonald family. A Private Family Service will be held. Flowers are gratefully declined. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Joan’s name may be made to the Allan Blair Cancer Centre c/o Pasqua Hospital, 4101 Dewdney Ave, Regina, SK S4T 7T1. Joan was another Vaughan street neighbor of mine as I grew up. I remember both Ken and Joan as very kind people.Lana , Brent and family I am thinking of you all at this time. So sorry for your loss.

I was very sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. I remember many wonderful summers spent with Auntie Joan and Uncle Kenny, and of course with our cousins, both in Moose Jaw and at the cottage in Ontario. My thoughts are with you.
