Margaret Louisa Ann McLellan

Margaret Louisa Ann McLellan, aged 92 years of Moose Jaw, SK passed away on Monday, December 25th, 2017.  Margaret was born on December 4th, 1925 in London, ON where she grew up and attended school.  On July 15th, 1950 she married Grant James McLellan and they had a son, Alan Wayne in March of 1956.  In the 1980’s, they moved to Alberta, where her husband passed away on February 18th, 1997.  Margaret moved to Moose Jaw that same year to be closer to Alan and his family.  She lived at Oxford Place for the past 2 ½ years.  Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her son, Alan and his wife Monika; grandson, Justin; as well as many nieces and nephews.  The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital for all of the care and compassion that was given to mom during her stay.  In keeping with Margaret’s wishes, a Private Family Service will be held.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Margaret’s name may be made to Special Olympics Moose Jaw c/o Special Olympics Saskatchewan, 1121 Winnipeg St, Regina, SK S4R 1J5 Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Michelle Surtees Funeral Director 306-693-4550
