Evelyn Margaret McGregor

McGregor – Evelyn Margaret McGregor, of Moose Jaw , Saskatchewan , passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at the age of 78 years. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 25 th , 2006 at 11:00 a.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane . Pastor John Kreutzwieser will officiate and burial will take place in St. Matthew’s Cemetery, Mossbank , Sk at 3:00 p.m. Evelyn was born on the family farm near Mossbank, Sk. on March 6 th , 1928 and she attended Gilbert Plains School up to Grade 10. Upon the passing of her father, the family then took up residence in Moose Jaw . In 1948, she married George McGregor and farmed in the Parkbeg district for 40 years. After the sale of the family farm, they retired to Moose Jaw until the year 2000. They then ventured out to Penticton , B.C., where they lived until the loss of her husband George in October 2005. Evelyn is predeceased by her parents, five brothers and three sisters. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by son Cliff(Debbie) of Riondel, B.C., two daughters Debbie (Marvin) Seaborg of Moose Jaw, Sk., Bev(Kevin) Hembroff of Regina, Sk., and son Kevin (Diane) of Red Deer, Ab.; grandchildren Chris (Chad), Kim, Dacey (Mike), Lindsey, Dustin, Theresa.
