Jesse Leon George McGillis

Jesse Leon George McGillis, aged 32 years of Assiniboia, SK, passed away suddenly on Friday, July 15th, 2016.  Jesse was born on February 6th, 1984 in Moose Jaw, SK to George and Holly McGillis.  He was predeceased by his father, George; favorite aunty Anita; as well as many other family members.  Jesse will be remembered by his mother, Holly; brothers, Alex and Greg; sisters: Lora, Ashley and Amanda; his girl, Aimee; as well as his nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.  Jesse loved helping his friends, exploring, traveling and had a passion for listening to and playing loud music, just like his Dad.  Jesse loved to dance and spend a day fishing.  He was a hard worker who was passionate about construction and loved working in that trade.  He was also an avid bike enthusiast, and loved building them and fixing up his friend’s bikes.  In his spare time, Jesse loved drawing and metal work and was excited to be back in Assiniboia, near his family and settling down and starting a new life with his girlfriend and family.  The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 23rd, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Calvin Gammel, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
