Charlotte Agnes McDowell

Charlotte Agnes McDowell of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan passed away on Monday, February 15th, 2010 at the age of 91 years.

Agnes was born on May 4th, 1918 at Keeler, Saskatchewan. She began her schooling at Wilson School, with most of her schooling at Caron, Saskatchewan. She attended Beauty College in Regina and began working in the profession. She took over the Connaught Beauty Parlour and operated it until her retirement. Agnes was predeceased by her parents Charles and Mary, her brother Jim McDowell, and 4 sisters Nell Dalrymple, May Page, Etta Rowe and Agretta McDowell.

She will be lovingly remembered by her sister Flora Thompson, her brother Henry McDowell, and numerous other relatives. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, February 27th, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Rosedale Cemetery. Pastor Bill Thomson of Trinity United Church will officiate. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at Moose Jaw Funeral Home no later than 1:45 p.m. to proceed to the cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined. For those so wishing, donations in memory of Agnes may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
