Mavis Irene McDonald

Mavis Irene McDonald, aged 83 years of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan passed away on Thursday, January 1st, 2009, at Providence Place in Moose Jaw, with her family by her side. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 7th, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Pastor John Klassen will officiate and interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery. Mavis was predeceased by her husband Archie in 1996; parents Charlie and Gladys Ogle; as well as her brother Larry Ogle. Mavis will be lovingly remembered by her children Faye(Russell) Andrews, Ron (Denise); grandchildren Murray (Bridget) Andrews, Mike (Shannon) McDonald, Barb (Stefan) Geddes; great grandchildren Luke Andrews, Reg McDonald, Jackson, Dylan, and Jorja Geddes; as well as her sister Vernis (Slow) Gregor. Mavis was born June 18th, 1925, on her parents homestead in the City View district and attended Thompson Lake School. In 1945 she married Archie McDonald and they farmed all their lives in the Archive district.
