Ella May Mazur
Ella May Mazur, aged 94 years of Moose Jaw, SK., passed away Monday, February 14th, 2011. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 18th, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Bev Longmire will officiate and interment will follow in Rosedale Cemetery. May was born in Weyburn, SK. and received her education there. She married Frank Mazur on May 5th, 1948 in Weyburn and later moved to Moose Jaw where together they raised two daughters. May was a life member of the Knox Presbyterian Church, which later became St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church and was a member of W.M.S. She was active in many groups including the Foresters (I.O.F.), the NDP and Ladysmith Lodge. She was predeceased by her husband Frank in 1986; brothers, Vernard, Herb and Bert; and grandson, Kirby Mealing in 2006. May will be lovingly remembered by her 2 daughters, Marlene Eastwood and Donna (Hank) Mealing; 6 grandchildren, Deanne (George) Hartell, Darla Eastwood (Tim), Della (Chris) Frey, Misty Eastwood (Kevin), Chad (Pat) Mealing, Travis Mealing and Tracey Day-Mealing; great-grandchildren, Ryan (Ricki), Colton, Braeden, Cordell, Cooper, Maxwell, Kaydance, Kaleb, Kallen, Sierra, Wyatt, Hayes, Mikhaela, Kolter, Shaelyn and Pacen; great-great-grandson, Lucas; 3 sisters-in-law, Rosemarie Gunstenson (Conn), Betty Austin (Conn) and Irene Conn; brother-in-law, Stillman Schlueter and numerous nieces and nephews.
