Olga Martyniuk
Olga Martyniuk began her journey to heaven with family by her side in the early morning of July 15th, 2017. Olga was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Tony and infant great grandson, Anthony. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Larry (Pat) of Carstairs, AB and their children, Trina (Greg) and their children Simon and Myles of Calgary, AB, and Corie of Cold Lake, AB; Terry (Bonnie) of Kamloops, BC and their children, Dr. Matthew Martyniuk of Calgary, AB and Evan and Steven of Saskatoon, SK; and Debbie (Leonard) Davey of Moose Jaw, SK; and brother, Stanley of Regina, SK. Mom was a homemaker and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. In her retirement she took up quilting and all of her grandchildren now enjoy their own quilts. She spent many years living next to Crescent Park, where she would take long walks and being an avid reader, made many trips to the library. Olga was also an avid bird watcher. She loved to listen to the birds singing at their cabin at Lovern Lake. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 18th, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Foley officiating. A private family interment will take place at Sunset Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Olga’s name may be made to Alzheimer Association of Saskatchewan 301 – 2550 – 12th Ave Regina, SK S4P 3X1.
