Helen Mann

Mrs. Helen Mann, aged 98 years of Moose Jaw, Sask., and formerly of Spring Valley, Sask., passed away on Tuesday, July 10 th, 2007. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 13th, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph ‘s Roman Catholic Church ( 1064 3 rd Ave NW ). Father Francis Folleh will be Presiding Celebrant. Interment will take place at Spring Valley Catholic Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.. A Vigil Prayer Service will be held on Thursday, July 12 th, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home ( 268 Mulberry Lane ). Helen was born at Avonlea, Sask., where she received her education at Goodland School. She married Peter Mann and together they farmed in the Spring Valley district until Peter’s passing in 1960. Later, Helen moved to Moose Jaw, where she has resided until her passing. Predeceased by her husband Peter in 1960, son, Jim in 2001 and all her brothers and sisters. Helen will be lovingly remembered by: daughter-in-law, Mary Ann; daughter, Norma (Arthur) Gross; son, Robert (Pat); 10 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren & great great-grandchildren.
