Sharleen Barbara-Ann MacDonald

March 23rd, 1965 – June 14th, 2017

Sharleen Barbara-Ann MacDonald passed away at the Pasqua Hospital in Regina, SK after a short, second battle with cancer.  Sharleen is survived by her brother, Randy Lemke (Chris Culham); husband, Shane MacDonald; son, Charles MacDonald; stepdaughter, Rebecca MacDonald; as well as a number of extended family and close friends.  After working in the military for 20 years, Sharleen was in the process of semi-retirement at the time of her passing, looking forward to spending her winters in Palm Springs and her summers gardening and looking after her yard.  Her career had her serve in bases at Cold Lake, Suffield, Moose Jaw, and Ottawa.  Her career also included tours serving Canada in the Golan Heights as well as Afghanistan, also she had a brief stint with the Snowbirds at 15 Wing Moose Jaw.  Sharleen enjoyed spending time with friends and family over coffee or at the casino.  Sharleen also spent much time traveling with her family across Canada and the United States.  She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.  In keeping with Sharleen’s wishes, a Private Family Service will be held.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Sharleen’s name may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre St, Regina, SK S4P 2R3.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Gary McDowell, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
