Brennan “Luff, Luffer or Luffy” attended elementary school at Sacred Heart School in Moose Jaw, Pilot Butte Elementary and went on to attend Junior High and High School in Weyburn. Brennan went on to attend SIAST Moose Jaw taking carpentry. He specialized in Concrete Finishing and was very proud of his “Stamped Concrete”. He had his own business named “GrandSlam Contracting” as well as worked for other contractors in the Weyburn area. Brennan was an avid athlete and won many championships in hockey and baseball. In 1 year he received 5 letters from the local MLA for his accomplishments. His baseball and hockey highlights were playing on 2 Sask Select baseball teams, 2 Canada Cup teams, midget select hockey team and receiving a Bronze medal in Pentathalon in the 2004 Summer Games. Playing baseball had him travelling from Maple Ridge, BC all the way to Summerside, PEI and all the provinces in between. He currently was playing hockey with the Arcola Kisbey Combines, was 2nd in points and played baseball with the Moose Jaw Millers and the Weyburn Beavers as a south paw pitcher. Brennan also ran pitching clinics since he was 15 and also assisted coaching minor baseball. He loved the sport but most of all enjoyed spending time with the kids. He also was a referee and umpire through his minor hockey and baseball years. Brennan lived a very full life even though it was cut short. Whomever he met, he left a lasting impression, made so many friends and always stayed in contact with them. He had such a way with people, young or old. Special needs adults and children also had a very special place in Brennan’s heart. You never saw Brennan without a smile, joke or laughter. He also got a bit of the travel bug which started with family trips to Disney, Mexico and Dominican Republic. In the last year he went on a family trip to Orlando, a trip with his close friends to Cuba, watched playoff hockey in Phoenix with his buddy and visited Keyla in Costa Rica. Family was very important to Brennan. He always met his family with open arms for a hug and kiss. He never wanted to miss out on anything whether it was a birthday, Christmas or stopping in for tea at Grandma’s. He brought any family occasion to life with his heart to serve and his love for his family.
