Kathleen “Kay” Lloyd
Kathleen “Kay” Lloyd, aged 92 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Sunday, October 28th, 2012. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 1st, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Pastor Bill Thomson of Trinity United Church will officiate and interment will follow in Rosedale Cemetery Veterans Section. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward “Ted” Lloyd; parents, Ernest and Mabel Pollard; sister, Mabel; brother, Alan Pollard; brother-in-law, Jack Connolly and nephew, Lloyd Connolly. Kay will be lovingly remembered by her brothers, Gordon (Margaret) and Trevor (Jill), all of England; sister-in-law, Mary Connolly; nieces: Elaine Connolly, Lynne (Carl) Graham and Carol (John) Tunnah; nephews, Mark (Rachel) Connolly and Jeff (Shirley) Connolly; as well as numerous nieces and nephews residing in England. Kay served in England during WWII after which she moved to Canada with her husband Ted. Living in several locations in Western Canada she worked for the T. Eaton’s Company, retiring to Moose Jaw in 1981. Kay was an active member of the Lioness Club and enjoyed volunteering for and attending different club functions. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Kay’s name may be made to the CNIB, 2550 Broad St., Regina, SK S4P 3Z4. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.
