George Lear
George Lear of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan passed away on Sunday, April 11th, 2010 at the age of 82. George was predeceased by his wife Nellie, his son Dennis, his brother Frederick; and his sisters Anne Jansen and Elsie Rabsky. He will be lovingly remembered by his son Randy(Brenda); his two granddaughters Janelle (Michael) and Michelle (Spencer); and numerous other relatives and friends. In keeping with George’s wishes a Private Family Service will be held. A Time of Fellowship for family and friends will be held on Thursday, April 15th, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., with a short program beginning at 2:30 p.m., in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. George was born in Moose Jaw on June 8th, 1927, worked for 18 years for the C.P.R. and for 28 years for C.G.T.X. George was very active in coaching minor league hockey and baseball. He was an avid supporter of the Saskatchewan Roughriders. George enjoyed daily visits with friends at Great West Tire and Brothers Confectionery. Flowers are gratefully declined.
