Donald Arthur Lawson passed away peacefully on Friday, November 2nd, 2012 at the age of 88 years.  A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 12th, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in Bethany Lutheran Church, Parkbeg, SK.  Pastor Marvin Seaborg will officiate and interment will take place in Bethany Cemetery.  He was predeceased by his first wife of fifty years, Norma in 2000; grandchildren, Malisa Lynne Lawson (1980) and Chad David Lawson (1981); brothers: Lloyd, Jim and Gary; and sisters: Eleanor, Dorothy and Betty.  Don is survived by his second wife, Helen Marzolf; children: Glen (Peggy) Lawson, Shirley (Larry) Mathieson and David(Lynne) Lawson; grandchildren: Richard (Melissa) Mathieson, Kyla (David) Cedergren, Erin (Adam) Boyce, Jared Mathieson, Amy Lawson (Brandon Empringham), Shannon (Wayne) Smith and Karen Lawson; great-grandchildren: Porter and Phineas Mathieson, Lily Cedergren, Ellie Smith and David Boyce; sister-in-law, Sandra Lawson; brothers-in-law, Michael Cuch and Henry (Sylvia) Bauck; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Don’s name may be made to the Bethany Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Wendy Brandon, Box 264, Mortlach, SK S0H 3E0.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Todd Sjoberg, Funeral Director. 693-4550.
