Darlene Lawson
It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Darlene on Tuesday, October 11th 2016 at the age of 55 years. Darlene was born on November 12th, 1960 in Central Butte, Saskatchewan. She was predeceased by her father John Schinold. She is survived by her mother Lorraine Schinold; husband Ron Lawson; her children Milissa Lawson (Ryan) and Matthew Lawson (Robyn); two very special grandchildren Rebecca and Evan; siblings Doug Schinold (Mary), Frank Schinold (Jeanne), Shelley Watson (Bruce), Tom Schinold (Michelle), Rodney Schinold (Tammie); many nieces and nephews; and her best friends (Sisters) Michelle Englesman (Curtis) and Cindy Campbell (Mark). Many people knew Darlene from the Moose Jaw Co-op where she enjoyed working for 24 years. She lived her life to the fullest at her cabin at Diefenbaker Lake with her family on her watercraft and razor ATV, through her famous theme parties, through traveling to her sunny destinations, and through her many cats. Six years ago she became a grandmother and it was the greatest joy of her life. Her family and friends were everything to her and she will be greatly missed by all those who knew her. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 15th, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home with Dave Foley officiating. For those so wishing, you may make donations to the Moose Jaw Humane Society, Box 1658 Station Main, Moose Jaw, SK. S6H 9Z9 as a tribute to her love for cats. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane. James Murdock, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
