Victor Johannes Larsen
Victor Johannes Larsen passed away peacefully at the Craik Health Centre on Thursday, August 3rd, 2017. Victor was born May 15th, 1932 to Violet and Laurits Larsen. He attended school at Bridgeford, SK until he took over the family farm after his father’s passing in 1965. Victor, at age fourteen years old, started raising Hereford cattle, of which he sold polled Hereford bulls at many sales. He enjoyed singing country music and playing his guitar at charity concerts with his sister Alice. He was predeceased by his parents, Violet and Laurits; brother, Archie; sisters: Ellen Esmond, Rose Sjodin, Freda Mang, and Beatrice Mayer; brothers-in-law: Art Esmond, Elmer Sjodin, Len Mang, Vic Mayer, and Gordon Magowan. Victor is survived by his sisters, Josephine Larsen and Alice Magowan; as well as many nieces and nephews. Victor will be welcomed into heaven by his sister Freda, who just recently passed away. Everyone will remember his gentle, kind spirit and sense of humour. He will be greatly missed by all. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, August 9th, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Tugaske Cemetery with Johanne Spencer officiating. A time of fellowship will follow at the Tugaske Hall. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Victor’s name may be made to The Moose Jaw Humane Society, Box 1658 Station Main, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 7K7.
