Kate Annie Langford
Kate Annie Langford fell asleep in death on Thursday November 25th, 2010 at the age of 88. Kate is survived by her husband George and sister/brother-in-law Anita (Mike) Blanchard. She was born July 20th, 1922 to Fred and Lydia Handley of Cabri. She is predeceased by her parents; sister, Ruth Phyllis Handley in infancy and sister, Eva Mary Handley. Kate attended Riverdene School where her mother would drive her and Eva three and a half miles with a horse and buggy. She married George Langford on August 23rd, 1975 and has resided in Moose Jaw ever since. On October 8th, 1951 Kate dedicated her life to Jehovah God. For 59 years she has built up a name with Jehovah as a faithful servant. The seed of truth that touched her heart and mind blossomed into a mature Christian. Kate enjoyed many years as a full time fellow worker with Jehovah. She enjoyed the privilege of sharing Bible truth with people and eagerly tried to help those who would respond to the Bible’s message. She always maintained a pioneer spirit by encouraging those around her to keep serving our great God Jehovah. The paradise earth, promised in the Bible, was a hope Kate knew would definitely be fulfilled. She was convinced Jehovah would remember her and resurrect her to life in the righteous paradise on earth. A Memorial Service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 200 Mulberry Lane, on Wednesday, December 1st, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. Leon Pandachuk will be the speaker and interment will be held at a later date. Visitation for Family and Friends will be held on Tuesday, November 30th, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home.
