CHRISTIANE MARIE LAMER

Christine, our angel, you left us too early in life on Wednesday, December 31st, 2014.  She was not a woman to command a room but her kindness, love and personality filled it.  She could make the hardest of hearts smile just with her presence.  Her resolve and determination in life truly made her an extraordinary woman.  After you met Christiane, you could never forget her for the peace and love she etched on your heart.  To describe who she was would be like trying to count the stars in the sky.  She will be sorely missed je t’aime mon amore repose toi en paix.  Christiane is survived by her dedicated and loving husband, Albert; her two sons, Jacques and Jeremie; as well as her brother, Regan Lamer; and her nieces and nephews, Roxane Dubuc and Sylvain Dubuc.  The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 17th, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the 15 Wing Base Chapel.  All are welcome to come celebrate Christiane’s life.  Please note, if attending the service, picture ID will be required at the front gate for the driver and all passengers in the vehicle.  The family would like to keep Christiane’s tradition and would see it as an honor to break bread while enjoying great company and stories.  Please feel free to bring a food item that you would enjoy and share as well, pot luck style, and enjoy the company.  If anyone would like to share anything about Christiane, you are welcome at this time.  The family is deeply touched and moved by the outpouring of kind words that have been conveyed.  From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your support during this difficult time.  Flowers are gratefully declined.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Christiane’s name may be made to the Transition House, Box 1866, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 7N6.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Todd Sjoberg, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
