George Homer Lamb
George Homer Lamb, aged 87 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 10th, 2014 after a brief illness. He was predeceased by his parents, Roy and Beatrice; and his wife, Eileen. George is survived by his children: Nancy (Roy), Greg (Pat), and Cindy (Alan); grandchildren: Craig, Ryan, Nick (Janice), Angela (Mike), Jared and Devyn; his treasured great-grandchildren: Zachary, Sophia and Ruth; his sister, Evelyn Hansen and brother, Ken Lamb. George was raised on the family farm north of Moose Jaw. He married Eileen Olynik in 1953 and they spent the next 32 years farming at Lawson. After retiring to Moose Jaw in 1985, Dad and Mom enjoyed camping and dancing with their friends. They also went on numerous gambling bus trips to the United States. In keeping with George’s wishes, a Private Family Service will be held. The family wishes to thank Moose Jaw Extendicare for all of their compassionate support during Dad’s brief stay there.
