Ally Koch
Ally Koch aged 52 years of Tuxford, Sask. passed away accidentally on Sunday, November 11th, 2007. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 16th, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 1064 3rd Ave. N.W. Father Francis Folleh will be Presiding Celebrant. Ally was predeceased by his mother Marie (2005) and his father in law Mathew Kuntz (1999). He was a loving husband and best friend to Betty Ann, devoted and special father to his daughters Jessica and Jennifer. He will be proudly remembered by his father Peter; brothers Em (Karen – Nadine, Cole, Kara), Dan (Arline – Ryley, Trevor, Lyndsey, Peter), John (Dana – JR, Brianna, Keshia), Peter (Sharon); sisters Kathy Rossler (Randy – Vanessa, Jodi), Bettyann Skagen (Brent – Nathanael, Kristen); mother in law Evelyn Kuntz; brothers and sisters in law Marie Swayn (Ross), Joe Kuntz (Elaine), Jim Kuntz (Gerry), Larry Kuntz, Paul Kuntz, Teresa Gilroy (Steve) and their children; aunts, uncles, cousins, great-nieces and nephews and many good friends. Ally was born at Provost, Alberta on February 7th, 1955. He was an avid Calgary Stampeder and Flames fan. A loving husband and father, son, brother and uncle; he would give advise to anyone of the kids he could get to sit and listen. Ally loved to garden and he was proud of the fact that he made his own bread (from scratch) and the “best darn deer sausage” around. He was also proud to be Mayor of the Village of Tuxford and spent a lot of time making sure things were taken care of. Ally was a loyal and good friend to many. The stories he could tell about hunting, fishing or life experiences were enjoyed by many. We will remember him fondly with respect and love. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ally’s name to the Canadian Cancer Society, 61B Ross St. W., Moose Jaw, Sask. S6H 2M2.
