Edward Herman Kober
With great sadness, we announce the passing of our dad, Mr. Edward Herman Kober, of Moose Jaw, SK. Ed passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, September 30th, 2015 at the age of 91 years. Ed was born to parents, John and Emilia Kober, on March 21st, 1924 in Flowing Well, SK. HE married Ruth Viola (Brown) in 1951 and they had three daughters. Ed was a hard-working man who drove many miles in his long career as a truck driver. He loved his family and would do anything for anybody who asked. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Emilia Kober; siblings: John Kober, Julie Norman, Mary Schulties, Dolly Kat, Elizabeth Nelson, Jack Zimmerman, Emil Zimmerman, Albert Zimmerman, Reinhold Zimmerman, Lena Adrian, Clary Kober and Flory Harvey; and grandson, Ryan Hill. Ed will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Ruth; daughters: Patricia (Randy) Mula, Cathy (Ollie) Hill and Bonita (Greg) Myers; grandchildren: Jessica Bodnarchuk, Aaron (Michelle) Mula, Amy (Arden) Ausland, Nicholas (Allison) Myers and Melissa (Ryan) Taylor; great-grandchildren: Jordan, Caelyn, Nash, Jaspen, Bentley, Dominic, Jett, Riley, Carter and Harley; sister, Ruby (Emil) Pakula; brothers, Charlie Kober and Phillip Kober; as well as many sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. A Private Family Service will be held. A Time of Fellowship to celebrate Ed’s life will be held on Monday, October 5th, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Moose Jaw Wildlife Federation Building, 1396 3rd Ave NE, Moose Jaw, SK. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Ed’s name may be made to the Journey to Hope, 262 Athabasca St E, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 0L5.
