Norma is survived by her loving husband and best friend, George Knox of Moose Jaw,Sk; her two sons William (Heather) Robinson, their daughter Marissa of Moose Jaw, Sk and Clayton Robinson, his son Shaun of Moose Jaw, Sk; daughter Jackie Usher, her three sons Cory (Erin) and daughter Hannah, Aaron and Brendan and their father Raymond all of Moose Jaw,Sk; step son Gordon (Karla) Knox of Calgary, Ab.; as well as several nieces and nephews. Norma was predeceased by her mother and father Anna Mae and Norman Stewart Brown; brothers Russell, Merville, Meredith, Clayton (killed in action in WWII), Marwood and Elgin; sisters Alma Wilson, Dorothy Grado and Jackey Erfle. Norma and George had many happy years travelling to Cuba, Mexico, Hawaii, England, Germany and the Panama Canal. They enjoyed many casino trips to Las Vegas and many other places where they met and enjoyed old and new friends. She loved and was very proud of her flower garden and looked forward to spring and her many trips to the local nurseries for new purchases to love and care for under her very green thumb. Norma worked in various Law Firms in Moose Jaw for 20 years after finishing her schooling at Peacock Collegiate. Later she worked as secretary at CFB Moose Jaw, retiring after 21 years. Our loving wife and mother was a very caring and giving person who always carried herself with dignity and quiet grace. Never condoning and always there for a shoulder to cry on, or an ear to listen too. She loved all of her grandchildren and was proud of them all as attested by all of the pictures of them in her home. Family gatherings at her house were always a festive affair with the greatest meals a person could ask for. She especially loved Christmas and we always joked about her having her tree up well into March. None of us have ever seen a more beautiful tree than hers. The family would like to thank Dr. VanHeerdan and the Homecare nurses, which were our angels of care through these trying times, as well as the nurses at the Union Hospital. For those so wishing, donations may be made in Norma’s name to The Chris Knox Foundation, P.O. Box 267, Kelvington, Sk., S0A 1W0.
