Jean Knittel

Jean Knittel, aged 77 years of Central Butte, SK, passed away peacefully at the Moose Jaw Union Hospital on Friday, March 6th, 2015 after a brief illness, with her daughters and son-in-law by her side.  She was predeceased by her parents, Olaf and Gertrude Knutson; brothers: Kolburn, Ed, Gunner, Barney, Kenney, Glen and Dallas; and sister, Gudrun.  Jean will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Cathy and Debbie (Rick); son, Trevor (Loretta); grandchildren: Kristen (Cole), Jared (Hope), Janelle (Orry) and Tyson (Ashley); great-grandchildren, Brooke and Bo; and her sister, Gladys Stinson of Swift Current, SK.  The family would like to thank the staff at the Moose Jaw Union Hospital for their excellent care during her stay.  A Private Family Service will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Jean’s name may be made to Central Butte Iver Main Place, Box 550, Central Butte, SK S0H 0T0.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Calvin Gammel, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
