Adaline King
The family of Adaline King sadly announces her passing on September 8th, 2008 after suffering a massive stroke on August 1st, 2008. Adaline was born September 26th, 1914 in Winona, Ontario. She married Earl King on August 13th, 1936. They lived most of their lives in the Bridgeford district. She moved to The Bentley Retirement home in Moose Jaw in 2002. Predeceased by her husband Earl King; her parents Jack and Matilda Smith; sisters Jean (Russell) Langton and Ella (Morley) Parkinson; brothers Jim, John and Bob Smith; brother in law Jack Wills; and grandchildren Jamie King and Krista Wendt. Adaline will be sadly missed by her sisters Edith (Bill) Flynn of Moosomin, Pat Wills of Moose Jaw; sons Garth (Linda) King of Miami, Florida, Jim (Joan) King of Moose Jaw, Murray (Jeannette) King of Moose Jaw; daughters Sandra (Paul) Wendt of Moose Jaw, Cheryl (Lorne) Marjerison of Carlsbad, California, Bonnie (Vern) Mackow of Chaplin; 21 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren. At Mom’s request, a private graveside service will be held. The family would like to thank the staff of the Medical Unit of the Moose Jaw Union Hospital, as well as staff and friends at The Bentley.
