Roy Emmerson Johnson
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Roy Emmerson Johnson. He was born April 21st, 1925 at Richey, Montana. Roy lived his early years in the Eyebrow district. He later moved to the Sunset district settling into the farming life with his family until 1985. Survived and fondly remembered by his wife Audrey (Hartell) Johnson; children: Betty (Robbie) Ingvardsen, Barry (Heather) Johnson, Alan (Holly) Johnson, Brenda (Arthur) Tuplin, Jim (Debra) Johnson, Lloyd (Brenda) Johnson, Susan (Brad) Urquhart, Rod (Joan) Johnson, Ken (Kelly) Johnson, Ken (Dianne) Hartell, Faye Wheeler, 21 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and his sister Ellnora Brandon. Predeceased by his first wife Monica Johnson; sister Esther Elton, brothers: Ronald Johnson, Douglas Johnson and Arthur Johnson. Roy will be remembered for his mechanical and welding ablilties that were greatly appreciated by his sons, grandsons and neighbours. His family will always remember his quick wit, coupled with a big grin. There was nothing he enjoyed more than a houseful of noisy family enjoying a good meal. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 4th, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
