June Johnson
June Johnson, aged 81 years of Moose Jaw, SK, entered the Kingdom of Heaven on Thursday, April 3rd, 2014. She was predeceased by her parents, Chester and Ethel Johnson; son, David; daughter, Susan; brother, Phil; and sister-in-law, Margaret. June leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Kathy (Tim) Rancour; son, Rod Duchak; grandchildren, Maureen (Ed) Wentworth and Beverly (Johnny) Wharton; great-grandchildren: Estella Wentworth, Franklin Wentworth and JJ Wharton; siblings: Lynda (Merv) Rice, Keith Johnson, Jim (Esther) Johnson and Bob Johnson; as well as many nieces and nephews. June was born in Moose Jaw, SK on October 31st, 1932. She came into this world with a spirit full of love and gentleness. Through her time living in Moose Jaw, Medicine Hat and Calgary, she left an impression that can’t be forgotten. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. June will always be treasured by every heart that was touched by her grace. A special thank you to the nurses and all those who cared for June during her time at Providence Place. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 7th, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Reverend John Kreutzwieser will officiate and interment will take place on Tuesday, April 8th 2014 at 3:30 p.m. at Rosedale Cemetery. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery gates at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in June’s name may be made to the Alzheimer Assoc. of Saskatchewan Inc., 301-2550 – 12th Ave., Regina, SK S4P 3X1 www.alzheimer.ca/Saskatchewan.
