Connie Dagmar Johnson

She was born on a farm near Mossbank, Saskatchewan, one of six children growing up at the end of the Great Depression and through World War II. Connie developed a great love of animals on the farm. She married Hilding Johnson in 1956 and lived happily together in Moose Jaw, raising two girls. Connie was a devoted wife and wonderful mother. Connie had a great sense of humour which she passed on to her two daughters. She remained in Moose Jaw after her husband’s passing in 1991, residing most recently at Pioneer Lodge where she enjoyed her new neighbors and many friends. Connie was predeceased by her husband, Hilding; parents, Anna and Martin Jensen; daughter, Ilene Reid; sister, Joyce Trewin; and brothers, Bob, Svend and Hans Jensen. Connie will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Lorna (Gordon) Keene; son-in-law, Doug Reid; grandchildren Keith, Lynette and Candice; brother, Victor (Merle); as well as nieces and nephews: Shelly, Lisa, Lianne, Brad, Bob, Eric and Victor.
