Henry Albert Janke

Henry Albert Janke aged 71 years of Moose Jaw, Sask., passed away on Sunday, October 14th, 2007.  The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 19th, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home (268 Mulberry Lane) with Pastor Doug Shepherd officiating.  Interment will take place on Saturday, October 20th, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Lang Cemetery. Hank is survived by his children: Kathy (Allan) Johnson, Tracy, Gordon (Bea), Terry, Gary (Linda), Blair and Rob; 10 grandchildren; one brother, Dr. Edwin Janke;  wife, Lorraine Schinold; step children: Doug (Mary) Schinold, Frank (Jeanne) Schinold, Tom (Michelle) Schinold, Rod (Tammie) Schinold, Shelley (Dave) Watson, Darlene (Ron) Lawson; 16 step grandchildren and 11 step great grandchildren.  Henry was born in Lampman, Sask., on February 11th, 1936.  He had a family of three brothers: Donny (deceased), Charlie (deceased) and Dr. Edwin Janke.  Henry spent his younger years working in the Saskatchewan oil patch, later being employed for the majority of his life as a mechanic manufacturing farm equipment.  For those so wishing, memorial donations may be made in Hank’s name to the Lang Cemetery Fund.
