Todd Hutchinson
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that the family of Todd Hutchinson announce his sudden passing on April 30th 2023 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.
Todd is predeceased by his father, Brian Hutchinson, grandparents and aunts and uncles. He is survived by his mother, Rose Hutchinson; daughter, Amber (Squirt) Sapergia (Tyler) and his three special grandsons Brett, Jaise and Daxin. Brother, Brian Hutchinson (Carrie), Nephews Taylor Hutchinson (Jen, Carson, Brody and Tori) Tanner Hutchinson (Makenzie) Sister Myrna Hutchinson (Eugene) and niece Breann Hutchinson (Brooklynn).
Todd grew up in Moose Jaw, before moving to Caron to finish high school. He started with CP Rail in 1980 where his fierce love of trains and the railway began. He moved to BC Rail in 1994 and retired from CN just a few years ago. He could fix anything and had a passion for woodworking and mechanics. He used these gifts to help his family and friends. He had a huge heart; the kind of guy who would spend hours on the phone checking-in on those he loved.
Todd was a die hard Eski’s fan, so we invite you to wear your favorite sports jersey to share in his love of sports.
A Come and Go Celebration of Todd’s life will take place on Tuesday, May 16th, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Todd’s name may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Sask. Unit 26 – 1738 Quebec Avenue Saskatoon, SK S7K 1V9 or to The Canadian Cancer Society 1910 McIntyre St Regina, SK S4P 2R3.
Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane. Michelle Ellis, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
