Kenneth Foster Hudson
Kenneth Foster Hudson was born in Moose Jaw, SK on July 20th, 1932 and left us on Wednesday, September 23rd, 2015. He was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Olein Hudson; and brother, Barry Hudson; Ken will be sadly missed by his wife of 57 years, Muriel; sons, Daryl (April) and Terry (Nikki); grandchildren: Blade, Amber, Rory, Hallie, Kale, Piper, Kruz and Courtney; great-grandchildren: Bodyn, Drake, Jaxon and Blake; siblings: Gordon (Jean) Hudson, Arnold (Joyce) Hudson and Wilma (Jack) Mantel; as well as several nieces and nephews. Ken grew up on the family farm north of Moose Jaw, where he farmed for years. He worked for several years at Johnstone Auction Mart. Ken loved his family and in his early years, enjoyed coaching and watching his sons play hockey. In later years, Ken loved to watch his grandchildren and great-grandchildren playing hockey, football and baseball. Ken had an amazing love for animals and really took pride in training, working and competing with his heavy horse team. He will be sadly missed by his special puppy “Nikita”. A Celebration of Ken’s Life will be held on Tuesday, September 29th, 2015 at 3:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Bernadette Cey will officiate and a private family interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ken’s name may be made to The Moose Jaw Humane Society, Box 1658 Station Main, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 7K7 or The Canadian Diabetes Association, 917A Albert St, Regina, SK S4R 2P6.
